The Origin of Good Gene
Every institution begins with a question. Ours was this: why does modern medicine wait for people to get sick before it acts? Good Gene was founded in Chester, NJ to answer that question — with precision, with intention, and with an entirely different model of care.

Nearly Twenty Years of Witness
Dr. Jennifer L. Volpe has spent nearly two decades in Emergency Medicine. She served as chief resident.
She trained at New York Medical College. She earned her medical degree from New York Institute of Technology after graduating summa cum laude in Chemistry from Sacred Heart University.
She was exceptionally prepared for the medicine she practiced.
And yet, the more she practiced, the more she recognized a fundamental failure in the system itself.
The Pattern She Could Not Ignore
Heart attacks that could have been predicted. Strokes that could have been anticipated.
Advanced conditions that could have been intercepted — if anyone had looked earlier, measured more precisely, or intervened before crisis demanded it.
Emergency medicine is designed to save lives at the point of crisis. It is extraordinary at what it does.
But Dr. Volpe began to see that the greatest opportunity in medicine was not at the moment of rescue. It was years before — in the space where decline is still reversible and trajectory is still a choice.
The Decision
With a foundation in emergency medicine, Dr. Volpe went on to create a new model of medicine.
Not a clinic. Not a wellness center.
A private longevity institute — designed from the ground up to practice medicine the way she believed it should be practiced: proactively, precisely, and with the time and depth that every client deserves.
She co-founded Good Vibe Medical in Chester, NJ — a multidisciplinary integrative practice that laid the clinical foundation. She pursued advanced training in nutritional therapies, functional wellness, and aesthetic medicine.
Then she went further.
The Longevity Calling
Dr. Volpe aligned her practice with the philosophies of Peter Attia, David Sinclair, and Mark Hyman - some of the foremost voices in longevity and performance medicine.
These influences did not redirect her career. They confirmed what she had known since the emergency room: the most powerful medicine is the medicine that arrives before it is needed.
Good Gene was the result.
Our Philosophy
Health as the Ultimate Asset
Good Gene is built on a conviction: health is the most valuable asset anyone will ever own. More valuable than wealth, reputation, or time — because without health, the others lose their meaning.
Proactive, Not Reactive
Traditional healthcare is structured around reaction. A threshold is crossed. A diagnosis is made. An intervention begins.
Precision, Not Protocol
Every client at Good Gene receives care designed exclusively for their biology, their goals, and their trajectory. There are no standardized pathways. There are no one-size-fits-all protocols.
The True Luxury
The true luxury is not the environment — it is time. Time lived in health, strength, and clarity.
Good Gene exists to protect that time — deliberately, measurably, and for decades.
